I hope all Romney's donors pick up the pace and fork out more money to pay for his lavish campaign spending. His campaign is $10,000,000 in the RED. The guy has spent $53,000,000 with only $43,000,000 in donations and his poll number are flat-lining.

Romney didn't "raise" $18M, he loaned himself $8.5M of that. When he loses (which he most definitely will) guess who gets paid back first?

Thanks guys for giving Slick Mitt, personally, 18 Million (what he loaned himself in the second quarter as well.) No wonder he will keep running, he is making out like a bandit on this deal. Smart business man? Definitely. I almost wonder if he has some venture capitalists investing in his campaign to get a piece of the haul he will bring in.

He has to pay his supporters (I met several of them at a recent event, and none of them had heard of Romney before their Pastors or Professors came to them with a deal from Romney to go and support him.) He literally went to college republican groups and churches and offered an all-expense paid weekend and a voting bonus in the straw poll for these kids (and they were ALL kids, including many not old enough to vote.) They couldn't answer a single question about their candidate, and when pressed, admitted that Romney just paid them to show up and support him.

Say no to Mitt needs to use me.

Using only the numbers in the article. Romney has lent 17 Million to his campaign. He currently has 9 Million on hand. If his campaign ended today and all 9 Million remaining went to pay off his personal loans to the campaign, he would still have spent 8 Million that he would not get back. Not exactly making off like a bandit.

You sound like a Ron Paul supporter. If anyone is going to make money on his campaign it is him. He has no chance of winning, but has quite a bit of cash on hand that won't be going to paying off loans when he drops out.

"Name recognition is not a problem for Romney in Utah." is the stupidest, most un-interesting sentence I've read this week.

Hey Joe, when can I expect another story on Brother Romney?

How about talking about the ISSUES and the REAL ISSUES instead of how much money they have raised !
They're stance on the issues such as borders etc. are never talked about. The people want to hear how they stand on the issues, not how much money they have raised...

It's times like this, I'm glad Fred Thompson is in the race. At least conservatives can vote now.

Calculator,

A fool and their money are soon parted. Ever heard of "matching funds?" But, who am I to stop you from throwing your money away?

Every Romney supporter I have ever met was getting paid by him. THAT is why he has to loan his campaign money. He is buying more supporters than are actually donating to him. Well, trust me. They will take the money with a smile and never utter his name again. I have video where they have admitted to as much.

Romney, this country is not for sale!

P.S. Ron Paul, who?
