Woman killed in hit and run accident; investigators looking for driver

I hope whoever hit this poor woman will come forward for the sake of her family and friends. Step up and be honest. You know who you are.

I just want to say, I know nothing about the accident but I did know Pat and she was a wonderful person and did a great many things for children and adults in the time she spent working for the State.

She will be dearly missed and I hope they find out soon who did this.

Pat was an outstanding person who left a great legacy to our state. She helped many children and families and after retirement, kept right on helping people through private counseling and Medicare counseling. She will be greatly missed by many of us who are devastated by her loss.

The sooner the person who is responsible for this needless death comes forward, the better.

I would also like to note what a great loss Pat's death is to our community. She was an amazing person with an amazing ability to help others.

I was guided by Pat many times when I first started working at DCFS. I felt a loss when she left us and moved on to other ways of helping families and children. I feel a horrible loss now. She was attractive, intelligent, productive, and yet remained feminine - a model for many professional women.
