Ron Paul has support from a large number of people as indicated by the large number of contributors, many who are Utahns.

His message of limited federal government (bound by the Constitution under the rule of law) and limited war (bound the the requirement of defense and bound by the Constitution) appeals to many people. His track record shows he will be steadfast in his leadership for freedom, prosperity and peace.

So, contributions to the Ron Paul campaign are to be expected.

Thank you for the article on Ron Paul.

Dr. Paul has become my only choice for President. At last, someone is speaking common sense and looking out for the interest of the average citizen.

What impresses me about Ron Paul is his principled pro-life stance, his respect for the return of power to states, a rollback of the power of the federal government, and his Christian roots. Dr. Paul also strongly opposes illegal immigration. I admire his self-evident family values: married for 50 years to his wife, and a large and supportive family. Finally, Dr. Paul is totally supportive of religious freedom and would oppose government interference in private life.

Please let your readers know that it's important to register Republican to be ensured of voting for Ron Paul in the upcoming primary!

Wow, Deseret News, thanks for an article about Ron Paul. Maybe you can do something a bit more in depth soon like how his principles and platform are ideal for Utahns. He is not ultra conservative (or libertarian) but his platform is sensible and honest. Can't say that about Mitt's.

As a strong environmental proponent, independent, activist and never vote GOP type, it is strange how I am supporting him. There are a lot like me out there who simply want change.

Thank you for the good news about Dr. Paul's campaign. To more than double your contributions, and perhaps also double the number of doners during the third quarter is - like Politico said: "striking".

For too long the main stream media have marginalized his strength with the goal of discouraging American's from supporting him. However, tht truth of his unique message and the strength of his character, combine to defy the main stream media's repeated and blatant attempts to supress support for his campaign. What I find most heartening is the intellect and sincerity of Dr. Paul's supporters. Perhaps not since Sam Adam's time has America experienced this broad-based fervor for freedom and individual liberty. Long live the Ron Paul Revolution!

Thanks for the article! Ron Paul is the only candidate with enough dignity to speak out against the war and admit it was a mistake! America is waking up and realizing that Ron Paul is the only candidate for the people because he is financed by the people. He doesn't take corporate money. He doesn't take money from lobbyists. They cannot buy Dr. Ron Paul because he isn't for sale like the other candidates! Why do you think he receives more donations from the military than any other candidate? Doesn't that tell America something?

People, if you want to reclaim this country from the renegade politicians who do whatever they want without our consent, register republican and vote for Ron Paul! Donate all you can to his cause! Get involved! Hand out flyers! Hand out stickers! Create signs! Join a MeetUp group! Most importantly - tell your friends and family that you are voting for Ron Paul and they should too!

The Revolution will be televised!

Ron Paul 2008!!!

Ironic that his message sounds very similar to that of Reagan, to that of JFK, to that of Lincoln, and to that of the Founding Fathers. A little in-depth research into our country's history and struggle for independence (still the major fight of this country) will reveal why his message is so powerful; because its real and honest message and it is something we have to fight for.

Thanks Deseret News for taking the time to report this. The more people learn about Dr. Paul, the more they will realize that he truly is the only candidate that will follow the Constitution.

Ron Paul is too extremist in his political views. We can't just walk away from Iraq tomorrow as he would make you think. Things are much more complex than that.

Well, it's a "feel good" moment for Paul's supporters but doesn't change the fact that Ron Paul has zero hope of gaining the nomination, let alone the presidency. The followers will follow, but Paul will not lead them to the promised land.

Thank you Deseret News for informing us about this nut. I am so glad that he wants to bow down to the terrorists and stop our troops from protecting us. Our constitution means nothing if we are not safe to live by its principles, or are forced to worship allah. This wacko can go back to his losertarian roots and scream about drug legalization to his psycho-sympathetic cronies. May he stop wasting our time and the time of legitimate republican candidates.

What great coverage on a true statesman. Ron Paul is truly the defender of the Constitution. He's the only truly conservative Republican running for President in 2008. May we be saved from the tyranny that is slowly encroaching on our great nation.

Legalize the Constitution, vote Ron Paul in 2008!

How could Utahns not like a candidate that has dedicated his 10 terms in congress to defending the Constitution and Liberty.

To the negative commenters here: Ron Paul has a 20 year consistent voting record and philosophy of preserving freedom and liberty. That is why he is attracting more and more support EVERY DAY. You can insult all you want, but it just makes his support levels grow even more.

If the Republicans don't wake up and support Dr. Ron Paul we will have Hillary the Red (Communist) for President. If you want to be the Communist States of America and have your money extorted from you to support the socialist agenda, support someone else for President.

Dr. Ron Paul, (The Only) Hope for America!

Thanks for sharing this news! I've been enjoying following what's going on with Ron Paul's campaign. This grassroots "revolution" of his seems to be gaining more momentum all the time, including here in Utah--I keep seeing banners, yard signs, bumper stickers, et cetera, for him all over the place. His supporters may not be as numerous as those of some other candidates but, what they may lack in numbers, they seem to more than make up for in their dedication and enthusiasm. And I'm sure that their grassroots efforts so far have been worth far more than what five million dollars could buy. In any case, I look forward to more news in coming months about Ron Paul and his political revolution.

Mr. Garber - The reason they seem to dedicated is b/c they don't have jobs and don't work for livings.

Ron Paul is not Anti Government, he is anti big government. Ron Paul represents the government our founding fathers established.

To the negative commenters here: did you know that switzerland is a pretty nuetral country? if terrorist attack us because we're free then why haven't they taken over switzerland yet, they're free too? did you know that our own government has sponsered terrorist's? and many our governments? If we talk about terrorists then we will have to go into every single country and take over because anyone can be a terrorist. this is just an excuse to go and take over countries and control them. Think about it. Would we attack russia if they were over here bombing us and building bases here? of course we would! we would'nt like it one bit. so seriously think about why we are in Iraq when 9/ll had nothing to do with Iraq?
More and more people are waking up to this even a lot of people from other parties are supporting RON PAUL.. because we RON PAUL is the only one who is honest and has the record to prove that he will preserve and uphold the constitution.
God doesn't make mistakes. the constitution was inspired by God. Why has our government ignored it?

vote RON PAUL 2008!

Once an older missionary told me that the United States
was a sleeping giant awaiting its call back to

patriotic roots. There is no doubt ... at all ... that Ron Paul is just this alarm. I can't help but greatly

question whether Americans are even Americans anymore. We've just become too scared and disorganized. Could

We even restore this nation if the opportunity presented itself? We'll see. I want to love being

an American again. I support Republican Ron Paul .
