Utah economy is cooling

Utah's economy is highly dependent on spending by the federal govt, mostly
for defense, entitlements and medical costs. Due to generous federal tax
deducts, for every federal tax dollar the "beehive" state sends in we
get back at least 1.25 not counting the multiplier effect. To say we pay our way
is a stretch of the imagination. Now if only I could figure a way out of paying
so much.

No, Ken Utah mooches off of California who only returns 75 cents per every
dollar paid in.

Utah is a welfare state, since it bleeds the United States (beast).

It says that the Utah economy is
cooling, wait a few month and will soon be cold. The
housing market across the country will eventually cause the economy to become
very cool if not down right cold.

Not quite so fast everybody!! Utah only appears to be on the receiving end from
the Federal Government. If you deduct federal Payments in Lieu of Taxes from
the total federal receipts, Utah does not fare that well. Utah State,County and
Local governments provide the expensive infrastructure services for the large
Federal holdings in the state.
