As one of Dr. Webster's chronic pain patients, I am glad that I read this article. It really opened my eyes as to how dangerous these drugs can be. I scheduled my sleep study for October 15th!!

Although this is certainly something to monitor and treat if necessary, leaving a person to suffer in pain is eqally if not more dangerous to the body's systems, and that must also be taken into consideration. Not everyone can be effectively treated with non narcotic methods.

why didn't they say the names of the actual drugs? I have no idea if mine are opiods or whatever it was....

The most dangerous is apparently Methadone, as the article stated. Other opioids are oxycontin, lortab, fentanyl, etc.
