We are happy that some of the people from Eagle Mountain will not be attending the schools in Lehi. The schools in Lehi are growing too fast and it will be nice when Eagle Mountain, the Ranches and Saratoga Springs are not in our schools. In fact it will be nice when they do not drive through our city and clog up our streets.

Need we all be reminded that we ALL pay for streets and it isn't a burden that the city of Lehi has had to bear alone? Utah County is feeling the crunch everywhere regarding transportation b/c we are growing quite rapidly. Come the next official census the county could be almost 500,000 by itself. That's up from the 370,000 in the 2000 census.

I've visited several charter schools in the state. They seem to be at the forefront of a renaissance in education. All are named after noble people and high ideals.

Rockwell, named after a gunslinger/alcoholic, could be a very interesting and diverse school.

Maybe Lehi should create its own district. The people of Lehi would enjoy the tax increases as much as the folks west of Lehi.

Going through Lehi is not pleasant for anyone. One school of 600 is not going to have a significant impact on Lehi High School's enrollment. My impression is that Lehi itself is growing in every way except significant business growth.

I don't know who is using my name to post these comments, but, the above two comments were not from the Rose Holladay that lives in Lehi, unless another Rose Holladay moved here recently that I don't know about. I have no idea what they are talking about. It's too bad they are so ashamed of their comments that they have to hide behind my name.
