Jimmy wishes that the MWC games were on Jimmy's DirecTv system, but Jimmy thinks that the senators probably have more important things that they should be doing with their time.

SCREAM!!!!!!! ARE you kidding me, are these Boozo's that we call senators actually doing this? What a waste of Tax-payers money! Course Orin Hatch has been a Waste for Utah for many a year!

Come on Senators, quit messing around with the free market system. That's just the way it is! It will eventually work its way in. And So many Utahn's talk about losing their freedoms because of Government intervention. What a paradox! The Ironic thing is, I served a Mormon Mission with John Ensign in Queensland Australia. I can't believe he is using his time on this!
The only reason I would like to see the games in St. Greed is so I can cheer for BYU and Utah to lose!
I get great joy in my life when they lose, then I don't have to hear from my Zoobie brother-in-laws how good they are, when in reality this region doesn't know what good football is. The States that know are: Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Lousiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Tennessee,West Virginia, just to name a few. I am sure many of you will fill in the rest! But really, this region Sucks in Football! BYU, yes, they SUCK TOO

Trout-P, get over your bitterness. What personal problems and past offenses are bugging you? Come on, let's hear it. Come clean, you know you've got some axe to grind that creates this over-emotional spouting. Don't you? Admit it! The senators represent their voters, and their voters and mostly not like you. It's nice to see the senators tuning in enough to their voters to know this matters to them, they are frustrated, and to do something, if only a token letter. Besides, they are kindly representing those of us that live in the rest of the country who would like to see these sports on TV, but have no representation, like me in Nebraska.

I went to the U and my wife went to BYU. Since we have not been able to see our teams on Dish we have a simple answer.

We stopped donating. When the U or BYU call it is the same message. No money until I see sports on the Dish.

And NO I will not do your job by call Dish.

The only reason I got satellite TV was to watch my college sports events and get BYU TV. I have been upset about this situation ever since they did the CSTV thing - it was stupid! Hats off to the politicians if they can make a simple change without wasting taxpayer money!

Are they going to push to get the Big-12 network on Comcast? I can get the mtn and cstv, so I've been able to watch all of the BYU games so far, but the first Ute game was on a new channel called FCTV, which I wasn't able to watch, so could Hatch/Bennett push comcast to let me watch that channel to?

I guess in the over-all picture of life, college sports are not the most important thing. But I really enjoy watching BYU and Utah play. I cheer for both, as I have kids who attend both colleges (except when they play each other--then I bleed blue). But I haven't been able to watch any games for quite a while. Lately I've been listening to them on my computer since we live out of range of KSL Radio, but I can access it on the computer. Thanks Senators for trying to help us out. You deal with such difficult problems all the time, it might be a relief to deal with something relatively simple for a change. Good luck! I hope it comes on DISH, as that is how we watch TV out here in rural Utah.

Look people, before you jump all over these guys: A senator's job is to REPRESENT YOU. What's important to YOU is important to THEM(ideally).

So, can you imagine how much mail they've got about this issue? Have you personally ever written your senator? If they're doing their job, they listen. And I'm guessing what happened here was a direct result of that imput from the unwashed masses.
