As an LDS member I certainly am pleased that we are consistent in our beliefs which honor the teachings in the Bible.

I am sorry that the Episcopal Church is loosing members and dying away simply because it has gone extremly liberal and perverted the teachings of Christ. The Episcopal Church was once a very admired and respected faith in America, sadly today it is fighting over so many issues and people are leaving and joining congregations in Africa and other places where the teachings are biblically based and more conservative. The future of this American Church does not look bright and in another 10 short years may not be anything but a skeleton of it's former self.

James

The Episcoapal Church is not dying away; it is alive and well. I've read the gospels 100s of times and I dont find Christ condemning gay people. Could you please tell me what teaching of Christ has been perverted? Loving your neighour as your self? Judge not?

John-Julian

Oh, please come off it, Shaun! Less that 1 % of the Episcopal Church is in a snit about gays. The rest of us are doing very well, thank you -- thriving, vital, and growing. It is said that people like this are able merely to project their own wishes into "facts". The Episcopal Church will be very happy to bury you, Shaun, and will be doing very well long after that.....

Ever heard of Sodom & Gomorrah James?

keith

Soddom and Gamorrah's great sin was being less than charitable to Angels of the Lord. The strugle is not in the Episcopal Church where the primary message is the Love of God for all of his children, for we are all God's children. And working for the glory of God and in His love is all that should matter. Are you looking at the person as a person and a child of God or simply a homosexual that you think fits into an anti-God assumption. Am I a person or a thing and what does God love more?
