I am so proud of your courage and committment to the truth, that you would stand up against the most powerful and diabolical leader of the FLDS church. No weapon formed against you has prospered, and every tongue that has risen up against you has been silenced. You have made it possible for so many other young women and girls to have a voice. To honor God is a free-will choice. Not a slave mandate. And ANYONE who claims to be the voice of God for all the decisions to be made in community, a voice that breaks the spirit, the soul and body of it's followers, is a voice from Hell. I thank the true and living God for His merciful deliverence of you from this hell.I have been praying for this vindication and justice. This man and his father have done so many heinous things in the name of God to so many women for so long. I pray the this conviction will put this evil man away for a long time, and make the rest of his minions wary. I have a friend who has suffered much under this regime. I pray hope & healing over you.

Anna obviously she was not talking to you; even if she was, the odds are it would go right over your head.

I am so impressed by your courage,Elissa. I appreciate the fact that it is especially scary for someone to rise up against family and religious brainwashing. Our children should be protected from child abuse. It is especially disgusting when abusers hide behind religion as an excuse for their perverted sexual desires.

I just finished reading your book, I have a fifteen year old daughter and I can not even comprehend that ever happening to anyone, much less a fourteen year old. I commend you for all that you have done and will say a prayer for you and your family that God will give you strength and will heal your broken heart. That way of life is not normal at all and I am glad you found the strength to over come!

Regarding your book: Stolen Innocence
Thank you for sharing the personal and private hell you've been through. I had no idea anything like the events you describe could possibly happen. I will pray for your continued adjustment in trying to live in this world. I love your spirit.

Thank you for your courage. I read your book in one 7 hour sitting-I related to it because I experienced abuse in the name of God also-not through the FLDS but through a pentecostal chrisitan church and family.
God indeed loves you and you are not going to hell.
My prayers follow you in your new life; be free.
