Scott: Good luck and best wishes for your success. Snow has a great future in front of it.

Snow College is a hidden gem in Sanpete County! As a former student, I wish Scott Wyatt the very best as he spells out his vision for the College. Not only do they have great academic programs on campus, they've got the best football team in the entire state. And who else can say they have a tie to Juilliard like Snow can? Go Badgers!

Scott Wyatt will do for the Snow College students of
today what Gerald Day did for me and others during his tenure in the late 80's... foster an atmosphere that teaches you to believe in yourself and that you can do anything you want because Snow College believes in you. There's no finer school than Snow College and no better man than Scott Wyatt to lead it. Best of luck Scott. Thanks for your vision, leadership and friendship.

Scott Wyatt appears to be a "Students' President" greater than many in recent history. I applaud his enthusiasm and dedication. Snow is the best two-year college you will find. I am confident that Scott will enhance what the faculty have done for years, and focus on the individual student.

This focus is just what Snow students need before they start a career with one of Snow's excellent associate degrees, or continue on to the larger, a less personal four-year college or university. My experience at Snow was a great foundation. I am pleased to see that Scott will continue this 119 year tradition.

Eh, why would anyone go to Snow? With the rise of AP, concurrent enrollment in high school, and other ways to get practically all your Generals done before you even start, what can Snow offer anyone? Lots of students come for one year and they are done.

I think Snow should move towards becoming at least a 4 year degree to stay relevant. But no, Mr. Wyatt, the Board's hatchet man, is determined to keep Snow from repeating UVSC's path.

I am a Snow College Graduate and had the fortune of knowing Scott at Utah State. The school is Utah's hidden educational gem...and Scott an amazing man.

I look forward to seeing Snow continue to build it's tradition of offering stellar education to it's fine and proud students.

My time at Snow College was two of the best years of my life. The school taught me so much about my future life and it's where I "grew up" Good luck to Mr. Wyatt in continuing a great tradition at Snow. Go Badgers.

can't get much better than #1 in JC football...do they have a hockey team at Snow?
Wesley | 11:16 p.m. Sept. 25, 2007
I've attended and worked at Snow College. The fact that Snow has no hockey team is unacceptable. But they'd have to play on a frozen pond. And what's wrong with that? Nothing. (Except warm winters.)Come on present students, hit up the alumni for a hockey rink. Oh wait, this is about President Wyatt. I like him. And Katherine. (I hope that's spelled proper)

I just started my Ph.D. at the Univ. of Oklahoma, but my education began at Snow. It was there that I decided to be a professor (thanks, K. Michael Seibt!)

The earlier comment about the "uselessness of Snow" or any 2-year college is not true. Students are zipping through their education in such a hurry that many disciplines remain unexplored. Liberal Arts disciplines are getting a bad rap when they are such a basis for intellectual thought.

AP tests and concurrent enrollment do not exist for every academic discipline, and it's better that way. Some disciplines require pre-requisite knowledge in foundational areas that must be obtained beforehand. What better a place to explore these new academic areas than Snow? -Where classes are small and tuition is low!

Not every student can take advantage of AP classes anyway, and it is unrelated to their intelligence or work ethic. Mostly it is timing and finances that intervene. EVERY student deserves an education and Snow is particularly good at serving a variety of students. -Not to mention Snow produces some of the best athletes for the NCAA in the country. Go Badgers!!
