Comments about ‘Nephi cancer survivor to lobby Congress’

This would be a good time to lobby congress to open the door for Alternative Medicine advocates and methods that are known to cure and fight cancer too. I note that Canada, and many other countries worlwide, have both restricted the expensive advertising of Pharma. drugs which increases their cost enormously here in the US, but has also opened the door for alternative medical practice by physicians and practicioners to use proven helps and medicines to treat cancer. Of course, there will be objections from the US Cancer Medical establishment lobby AMA, ACS, APS,FDA etc. who have heavy financial concerns to protect. That is what is presently the cause of the high costs and limited availability of alternative sources of cancer treatment being synergized with conventional medicine. I have noted that the Cancer Centers of America hospitals are headed in this direction as far as the FDA, ACS, AMA etc. will permit it. Lets open the door for better, more effective treatment of cancer.

I live in Eastern Utah where cancer is running rampid. My questions i would like to see answered is: Why can't we have a "chemo therpy & radiaion"
center in either Roosevelt or Vernal? If you are
a cancer patient you have to run back and forth to either salt lake or provo. This is not fail to the
cancer patients, its not only expensive but when you are taking these tretments you are sick anyway.
I know first hand as we delt with my Daughters Cancer, and i know "So many people" out here that is
making that trip back and forth.
I hope someone will mention this to the Cancer Society whaile in Washington D.C. lets get a Cancer
Clinic here in the Uintah Basin!! Also I think the
cancer survivors here should be able to be compensated just as the "Downwinders" were, I hope
this will also be on their schedual. All they will have to do is look at the people from the Uinta
Basin who have died from cancer, fighting cancer
or have just found out they have cancer, its no
diffrent than the downwinders. Please someone speak
up for the Eastern Utah Cancer Victums!!!!
