Governor Rampton did unwaveringly what was best for the state without regard to outside pressures including the Mormon Church or anyone else. A great Governor.

Utah was most fortunate.

Gov Rampton visited Road Runner Trailer company in Ephraim one day in 1972 while I was working to get money for school.

He made a point to try to visit each worker and shake our hands. I remember a special, warm and very sincere and honest feeling when he shook my hand. He thanked me for working and helping the Utah econ in Sanpete and wished us and our families success and good health.

The "Gov" since then has always had a special place in my heart because of the kindness he showed us hourly workers in 1979. We were not worth any political points so I feel he talked to us out his personal kindness and warmth. No hidden agenda. God Bless "The Gov" and his family.

Never seen grandaughters as pallbearers before. Way cool. I know of know reason we couldn't do this more. I been a pallbearer enough times. If you put enough people, like 8 instead of 6, it isn't as heavy.

Is this done outside of Utah? Am I just slow?
