Whoa Nellie!!!

Run away! We read the reviews of how good the burgers were and decided to try it for ourselves. All I can say is we were extremely disappointed. The service was very slow and poor, the waitress came back to see how everything was when we were completely finished. It was not a busy time and there were not that many people. We actually saw 3 couples get up and leave because no one had helped them yet. My husband and I both ordered classic burgers with extras..things like bacon, mushrooms, and CHEESE are all extras. Even fries are extra add ons. Our burgers came and the meat didn't even fill the bun. My daughter ordered the mac and cheese and it came in a tiny souffle cup. Yes, the burger itself tasted good but after a $35 lunch tab we were wondering what we were going to eat to actually fill ourselves up. The meat was also filled with garlic which upset our stomachs later.

I ate at Acme for the first time last Saturday. The food was overpriced, below average in taste and the service was poor. I could have gotten a better tasting burger almost anywhere: Chilis, Red Robin, you name it. I will never recommend Acme Burger to anyone and will never eat there again. As S. Cole said, "Run Away!"
