I watched it, and it's not as bad as Mr. Pierce says it is. In fact, in a year during which the traditional studio-audience sitcom seems a dying breed, the familiarity was (gasp) refreshing. The jokes were a little too crude, though. Frasier only rarely sank to the level of crass humor that was on display on a few occasions in the pilot, and Everybody Loves Raymond even less often. I disagree about the Grammer/Heaton chemistry--there's plenty of it. I often wholeheartedly agree with Pierce, but I think he is panning this one just a bit too much.

What a disappointment. Mindless drivel.As a fan of Mr. Grammer I am being overly kind by that statement.
