Way to go Governor! Lets talk about hanging laundry outdoors in the summer to dry or racks inside in the winter, hand washing dishes, and discontinue building starter castles for single-family residences. Just some basic, old fashioned ideas that will help to conserve electricity. Conservation coupled with clean energy sources is the way to go.

What is the point here? We turn off our lights for an hour and that is supposed to show us the benefit of energy conservation. The benefit of energy conservation is that it will be dark? Sweet.

But this would hurt the poor energy companies financially! Some coal miners might be out of jobs! Coal burning FOREVER!!!!

Has Gov. Huntsman been hanging out with Rocky? For goofy ideas this is close to some of his. Besides, we don't need to turn out the lights. Rocky Mountain Power can do that for us - and for more than an hour or two.

What next solar-powered, recycled, catch-and-release, low carbon, street crossing flags? How did this idiot get elected?

What will it cost the state to have personnel available to turn the lights on and off, or at a minimum reset timers?

Am I the only parent with a high school daughter and a college daughter who are typically leaving public buildings between 9:00 and 10:00 p.m. to walk to lighted parking lots - that will now be dark?

Will additional law enforcement personnel been available to watch for the segment of our society who would really like to see lights off on a regular basis?

I think Thomas Edison was a hero - TURN THE LIGHTS ON!!!!

What will it cost the state to turn the lights off so more criminals can hit the streets and prey on our neighborhoods in the dark?
