Admission to event at Capitol Theatre is only 25 cents

The correct frequency for KDYL is 1060 AM, not 1280 as mentioned in this column. As I noted in an earlier post, 1280 has been home to "The Zone" sports radio for several years, since at least "Y2K"
if my memory is correct.

For the RadioWest screening at the Capitol, Blaine Gale of Organ Loft fame, will indeed play their Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe Organ for the screening of EASY STREET, but the feature Chaplin film will be shown with the music that Chaplin composed for it on the film. At this time it is the only way that the distributor will allow it to be screened -- unless you want to have a full orchestra play Chaplin's score live.
Yes, the admission price to see this program is only 25 cents, but when Chaplin first opened the film up in New York in 1931 he insisted the theatre raise its ticket price 15 cents, to $1.50 instead of their normal $1.35.
This shound be an exceptional event for anyone who loves great film!
