I am not a Fundermentalist and I respect their right to practice their religion.
I have enjoyed a brief conversation with one of the sisters and realize they love their life style and I wish that their lifestyle could be made legal. Why do we look down on their structured family but we accept significant other relationships and gay relationships.
Polygamy is not for me and I see problems with it but those who practice it wouldn't have it any other way so let them live in peace.
I think that the loosers in polygomy is the men because there is too much competition for the women.
About being selected by the leaders thats a problem because if you are not on the good list you are out of luck.
Arranged marriages have been around for a long time in other cultures and have been successful.
As in any marriage if its a good marriage it is very good. In the polygamist marriage the children love their relationships and it is sad when they get booted out in some cases.
