Do your homework--solar is not the environment-friendly power source it claims to be. The manufacturing process generates toxic heavy metals. The panels themselves are not recyclable and cannot be disposed of in a landfill. The batteries needed to store power are a toxic nightmare. Economically, solar makes no sense because it is tremendously more expensive than anything else. Westminster wasted a lot of money just to feel good, but that good feeling is based on ignorance. Their money would have been better spent bringing in an energy expert to teach a class based on facts, not emotions.

you're misinformed on the reality of Solar Technology. yes there are environmental issues with every potential enegy source. pound for pound solar is a clear and clean winner.
