Face it, they're making these movies for two reasons. To make money, and an excuse to show as much of the slaughter of males per frame as possible. That's all it always is. If females are involved they are doing much, if not ALL of the killing. I guess it's not enough with gangster or war films or films like "Eon Flux". Lets get even MORE genres of men being slaughtered in to the mix. This crap makes money. Somehow the public loves it. It's men-bad women-good/victims yet again. Ever notice, even though there are lots of females in gangs, they are always absent when it comes time to die? Same with female cops or emergency workers. It's all about the slaughter of men, period. It's ALWAYS ok to massacre as many men as desired. And if a woman is doing it, well ... that's even better, right? Forget that women do the same things as the bad guys. They rob, steal, kill, sell dope, and beat people up (usually other women) just like the guys in the gangs. Not to mention supporting them in these ventures. Same Old Stuff. Only males are bad, right? Only males (lots of males) deserve to die, right? Buy into the "social commentary" nonsense if you like, but it's all to make money on your enjoyment of men dying in all sorts of bloody ways. If this was females being killed like this there would be cries of Misogyny from all over. But this is mysandry at it's finest. If you think this is "new" or has social relevance, you are sadly mistaken. Same Old Stuff.
