Too funny. I am the female version of this I guess and yes the dvr was the very reason I swithed companies for my T.V. service. Bless his heart my husband doesn't even know what team is on he thinks I have a very serious mental defect. Laughing my heart out.

Uh . . . maybe I don't get it because I'm not from Utah, but since the term is "Hail Mary" why should the kids have to say "Heck Mary." Is it because the original term comes from the Catholics? Do Utahns really think the term is "H-E double hockey sticks Mary?" or am I just missing the joke?

No, it has nothing to do with Catholics. Just that kids sometimes confuse 'hail' and 'hell'. Aside from Catholics, not many kids ever hear or use the word 'hail'.

Actually, we Utahns have a horrible accent. Instead of Jail we say Jell, instead of Rail we say Rell, and instead of Hail we say Hell. You wouldn't get it unless you're from Utah or know how Utahns speak.

Thus, the Hail Mary joke does make sense. It doesn't make it funny, but it makes sense.

Actually, I thought it was a funny joke. And if you don't agree, you can go to hail ... another joke somewhere else. (See now that wasn't a funny joke. Heck Mary was, though.)

Philly,you are just missing the joke. This is funny, sad, and serious all at the same time! Focus on college football, or use your vcr, and dvr and wait till midnight! Life is grand without the NFL as a prime sport in my life anymore, and I was a NFL Major Fan from the time I was 4 to 41, and now I am 44. Life goes on guys, get over it! College Football Rules!!!
