I question how Jordan District will be able to provide an "objective and honest" report. Christensen shows his own biased even in this article by referring to the consolidation of districts and how he doesn't have a lot to go on. There is plenty of information on the benefits of smaller school districts if he only cares to look. Here's a start: http://www.smallerschools.org/smallDistricts.php

It's not like smallerschools.org is unbiased!

It's hard to find bias-free anything in this discussion. A Pros/Cons (totally biased but from both sides) voter information pamphlet is likely the best route.

If I were a Jordan District Administrator, instead of fighting the inevitable, I would be trying to position myself in whichever community district I wanted to become a part of, rather than offending them.

I think the Jordan School District administrators need to be very kind to the patrons, they will all be looking for new jobs very soon, and will find it very hard to find a nicely padded job they are all accustomed to. Board members really need to think about making the taxpayers mad with that nice pay hike also. All this stays in our minds when we vote.
