I have prayed every single day. Last night when I prayed a thought came to me. They are not going to get the trapped men out. I agree with Mr Murray. That mountain is evil. The cavein occurred on Aug. 6. There are 6 men trapped. Now they are drilling last hole. Number 6. This is the mark of the beast.
666. That evil mountain is not going to let the out to be found. This mountain is so evil, they need to blow it up.

I think the whole ordeal has been very saddening not only for the families but all others around the world who have been able to watch. There are miracles everywhere and one never knows what can be expected from such an unstable mountain as the one these miners are trapped in. These are the kinds of things that happen when we continuously 'rape' our earth instead of truly trying to find other ways to maintain our ways of living. I think they should drill another hole and if necessary another one until some sign of the miners can be found. It is sad to think the miners have found a space to live in, no matter how weak they may be, and we have not done everything we can to get them out. Worse case scenario, it would bring closure to the families directly involved if they could take their loved ones home and properly honor them. Then and only then can it be said everything possible was done to aid/find the trapped miners. It would also be sad to have lost 3 other loved ones in rescue attempts to then just entomb the miners where they may be. Such an injustice all the way around. My heart and prayers go out to all those directly involved with this tragedy and to all those it has touched.

At what cost do we continue this effort? I'm not talking monetary, but lives. Should drilling continue, yes? Should other lives be put in danger for a possible recovery and not a rescue? I have nothing but deep respect and concern for the families, but who would they choose to go back into the mine. Let's continue to pray for those who have to make the tough decisions. It is no easy when you are dealing with lives.

It breaks my heart to think that those miners may never make it home to their families because of another human being's decision to give up...my heart and prayers are with all of these miners and their families in this tragic and emotional time. I can't even begin to understand how you feel or what you are going through...and for the families who lost their loved ones...I appreciate and respect everything your brave and fearless family members gave in their attempts at rescuing these miners...they will always be seen as heroes in my eyes...GOD BLESS

Why wasn't there more than one drill, drilling holes to find these men. 4 miles of mine and only 5 or 6 holes in 2 weeks is a crime.

Dear "Utahn",

Hmm... the minors were trapped on August 6 (August being the 8th month). 3 rescuers were also killed before the final 6th hole was drilled. So that makes the number 86636. Amazingly enough, document 86636, published by the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Scientific & Technical Information, describes the use of magnetic resonance imaging to locate more productive petroleum sites. This is surely a sign that we should be locating and consuming more oil!
