I think the polls are a little off. Cottonwood in 4th. Colts should be at least top 3, due to the fact they return most of their championship team.

one spot isn't a big deal..especially in a ranking this early. I'm just stoked Dixie got top 5. I am very impressed however they put a 2A team on this list. I never thought i'd see a 2A on a top 20 list

Morgan will come out on top in 3A! They are without a doubt the most talented team in the state! With they're power front line, they should be able to stop anyone in their path! Our team should be the best team in the state!! And I say a little underrated in the rankings! Coach Liz Wiscombe is the best coach in all the state! No coach can top her! Morgan should at least be in the top 5! Go Lady Trojans! Take state girls!

all i gotta say is that region six is goin' to be strong again this year, with cottonwood returning players, highland also having returning players, and west could probably in there... the championship will be two teams from region 6 again...

Oops! I guess 1A teams are not included in this top 20 list... I didn't see Rich High School listed anywhere!

I didn't know Dixie moved to 4A? I think their starting MB from last season, Samantha Misa, has moved back to Hawaii. Not sure? But I'm going to predict how 4A will finish out at the end of the year. 1. Cottonwood 2. Dixie 3. Highland 4. Snow Canyon 5. ???

oh Ok. haha. sorry. i thought i saw her playing with Asics Rainbow at JO's over the summer. that's why i thought she moved back to hawaii.

I'm interested in seeing how the rankings will be when this weeks Asics tournament will come into play. A LOT OF CHANGES COMING.

sam did move back to hawaii for club, but came back to live with her family for school. and ya rich should have been on the list. Dixie might drop after the tournament, but thats only cuz Sam is hurt, and there might be one other girl who is injured, not sure of her condition

I saw the Dixie / Hurracane game. Samantha Misa played back row, not sure why but based off what I saw of them last year they were not missing any others. Hurracane just seemed to hit a weak point on Dixie's team. The Hurracane team is typical from the last two years, no real standouts, just good team play, smart and consistant. Not sure about their high ranking but who knows they were solid.
I am surprised that Snow Canyon was ranked lower then Dixie, our coach seems to have Dixie's number, since my daughter has been at SC we've felt that Dixie's had the talent to win it all (twice), just not the coaching...Look for Samanta Misa to carry them but SCHS will keep them from their dream.

I heard that some SC girls that were juniors last year arent playing this year? or that there a problems with a couple key people...any truth to that?

I dont know why Rich isn't up there they are probably the most storied program in the state, with the most state titles that deserves some respect

but San Juan in a top ten is about right they returned most of their hitters form last year and always compete well with everyone!

YOUR TOP 20 IS NOT EVEN CLOSE.......THE LONE PEAK TOURNEY SHOWED WHO IS THE BEST, LONE PEAK FOLLOWED BY COTTONWOOD AND TAKING THIRD WAS LAST YEARS DEFENDING STATE CHAMPS BRIGHTON, YOU DO NOT EVEN HAVE THEM IN YOUR LAST TOP 20. THAT IS CRAZY. I HOPE YOU GET IT RIGHT THIS TIME !!!

WOW! That championship match between LP and Cwood was amazing. Cottonwood's blocking and offense was AWESOME, while LP's serving and Defense was SWEET. I still think Cottonwood still no. 1, but props to LP. good job.

Didn't you tie for 3rd and 4th with Morgan? Did you guys play Morgan? Please don't assume you would of been third. You know what happens when you assume to much....

Dear Morgan Fan,
I agree Morgan has a great program and Liz is an awesome coach. They had a great showing at RMCC being the best in 3A. But there are also a lot of other good coaches out their with good programs year after year. (Cindy Stuart at Rich for example and they are only 1a and I have seen them handle 5A teams in the past)

Snowcanyon1 you got some nerve calling out the Dixie Coach like that. Snow canyon has been loaded the past two years with size and talent. Dixie has talent to. Better be careful if is was me I would hand you your rear on a platter for knocking a coach and her program like that. Have some respect. You just gave Dixie what I like to call "a target" good luck with that. I'm cheering for dixie now.
