A thought. drill a 36" hole where 2 1/2 was drilled. Lower miner with a ty rope attached with a camera, light, water, 02 and let him walk looking. they may of already found them, deceased but still looking. He maybe able to walk 1/2 mile or more looking. I would be real good if he could find them a 1/4 mile from the drilled hole, alive but needing water and 02. Another idea, put a steel pipe large enough for a man to crawl in main entrance and advance it until in the shaft and then walk looking. These are just idea's but anything is worth a try.
