Terrific story on a great Yankee. As a young man I saw Phil Rizzuto hit a triple at the first Big League my father took me to. Many years later I got The Scooter's autograph at a Card Show in Texas. I told him I hoped he'd get in the Hall Of Fame. He said, "It doesn't look good." I'm glad he made it!
