It won't be long before the state legislature declares it illegal to protest within a mile or so of any restaurant selling foie gras.

Out here in Chicago they outlawed it. It was the supreme example of two things:
1) Government intrusion in our lives
2) The superfluity of an elected body
Will the Utah Legislature measure up? Probably.

Government intrusion in our lives? When you eat foie gras you are intruded on the animals' lives in sickening ways! This isn't about government intrusion it's about being more CIVILIZED.
I can't wait until this disgusting cruelty is no more. Come on, you're eating a DISEASE! You're eating MISERY!

Animal rights activists have spread numerous lies about foie gras and its production. Do some searching on the internet and find out the truth yourself. They are lying, manipulating people who are attempting to sway the general public away from foie gras because they do not like the product, or any other meat for that matter.

Ducks do not have choking mechanisms, and have hardly any nerves in their throats, so they do not feel discomfort when being force-fed their food.

Animal Rights activists say also that its not natural for the duck (or goose) to have that much food in their bodies. Another grotesque lie. The animals in the wild eat so much that the food reaches the top of their esophagus, near the beak, during times of long flight.

Foie Gras ducks and geese are not tortured or killed any more harshly than a duck, goose, chicken, or cow raised for its meat.

Do not be swayed by the lying animal rights activists!

Also, PETA supports domestic terrorism! They feed money and support to the ALF (Animal Liberation Front) who actively encourage and perform acts of violence and harassment in the name of animal rights. These include FIRE BOMBINGS of university medical testing facilities, attempting to murder (with crude, homemade bombs) scientists who test on animals, vandalizing fur sellers, raiding fashion shows, and harassing individuals who do not agree with their beliefs.

Also, PETA and similar groups are AGAINST animal testing for medical purposes! FYI, according to a Washington University Medical Professor, 90% of medical knowledge would not exist without animal testing!

Fight against domestic terrorists! Fight against the AFL and PETA. Mindless cruelty, like trapping for sport, is wrong, but let us eat what we want!
