I have always found it amazing since becomming a member of the LDS Church, that I could love men I have never met. President Foust was a man I have come to love and admire over the years and I feel a sense of loss at his passing.

May the Lord bless his family during this time.

A library has burnt down today, in the fact of all the knowledge you've had that you have so freely and willingly given to the world. Thank you for your dedication and love to the world. Sister Faust our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.G.V.

We will all miss Pres. Faust. He was a good, caring man, but I am sure that the Lord has a greater need for his work on the other side of the veil at this time. The Faust family is in my prayers.

My family and I were saddened to learn about President Faust's passing. However, the wonderful knowledge we have of Heavenly Father's plan has lifted our spirits because we know we will see him again. We will also see all of our loved ones and the many other great leaders who have passed to receive their place in the eternities. How we enjoyed to hear his wonderful messages during conference and will be greatly missed.

I have enjoyed his comments published by J. Rueben Clark Law School on ethics. His personal warmth and wisdom filled all of us at a mission presidents' conference where he presided in Geneva about 1980. He told me I would be a better lawyer because of our experience serving on a mission. Since that time I have read with interest and appreciation every talk he has given. He is full of kindness and wisdom and vision. His advice to lawyers and law students demonstrates all three. I am thankful for knowning such a good man as President Faust.

Eu amo Elder Faust e pelo grande maravilhoso trabalho que ele fez in Brazil while hi was on a mission there His talks has captured my attention when recently hi talked to the yung single adults.
And he quoted no Matter what you do DO the best as you can, there was a man that worked in a cemitery and his job was to clean the graves, water the flowers dig weeds etc... and the man said my job is not an important job for a lot of people I don't make a lot of money but I like to do it the best as I can and make sure it looks nice. Elder Faust said the man had a great love for what hi was doing and respect for those who had gone before us. That reminds me some of my mother teaching and for whom I've cared until she pass the way in Brazil. Now I care for those who are elderly here in America every time I'm with one of the elderly I remenber of what Elder Faust said Its not a matter of how great and important is your job to others but how great and important is to you and how you execute them!
When I was in Brazil a few years ago Elder Faust and his lovelly wife came to speak at the time my mother had just died just a few months while in the congregation I was so comforted by his talk than I was going to a depressing time of life I was only 18 years old I took care of my mother since I was 12 years till my 18th after his talking Sister Ruth Faust came down to where I was and gave me a big hug a big kiss so did Elder Faust I will always remenber of the love and comfort I recived at the Day that I was experiencing a very very difficult time in my life when just recently I had lost a loved one in Sao Paulo Brazil I love Elder Faust and his wife and wonderful service hi did in Brazil. loves Luciana ...

President Faust was an inspiration to all of us. We loved his gentle ways and great humor. He was a great teacher and we loved listening to him at conference. We will miss him as all who knew and loved him will. What a wonderful reunion he will have as he arrives in Heaven and will be put to work immediately, we're sure with a great task to help others. We loved you President Faust--what a great man you are and continue to be. Heavenly Father will bless you for all of your enduring and endearing works.

I will never forget then Elder Faust's visit to Porto Alegre, Brazil during my mission there. The people were so appreciative when he testified of the truth in Portuguese. It was a hot, muggy and filled to capacity auditorium...but he made it wonderful as he filled the room with his spirit of kindness and love. You will be sorely missed! Thank you for your service. Lord bless you!
