No question, "Brew" is a tough old cat. But one thing that was not mentioned in this article is that Bob Brewer is also the guy who is single-handedly responsible for bringing the Ford Focus Midget car series to Utah. All of us who make our living in the racing industry, and all of those fans in Utah who enjoy this dramatic form of racing, owe Bob Brewer a big "THANK YOU".

Sincerely,

Bob is a GREAT guy. When we've visited the pits after races at RMR he's always one of the friendliest and one of the best "people persons", whether he has a good night or bad night.

We have a daughter with Down's. He always calls her by name and has a hug for her. Why this guy is single is beyond me.

brewer is nuts. i heard that after he got hurt in california last year it took 3 1/2 hours of surgery with plates and about 40 screws to put his leg back together. but then the dude was trying to get his crew to lift him out of the of wheelchair and drop him through the top of the car so that he could run turkey night 3 weeks later. i heard he threw all of the pain medicine in the trash when he left the hospital. doesn't come across as a tough guy but must be tough as a boot or completly nuts.
