I had the pleasure of serving with AP in Quantico and as the Communications Chief for the 10th Marine Regiment. I only saw this great Marine once after he got out of the hospital. He called me and asked me to meet him in stafford VA. We hugged like kids and talked about his recovery. I miss this kid already. I just found out on Mar 9, that he had gone on to guard the gates of Heaven. I can only imagine what his immediate family is going through because all of the Marines that he served with have an open wound that will never quite heal. Rest in peace AP and I will see you when I get there.

I am so glad that more than a year later, the military finally listed his name as a casualty of war, rather than saying it was not the wounding in Iraq that killed this beautiful young man. It is the very least a nation can do, acknowledge the cause of the loss. I will walk him into the Walk of the Fallen, tonight.

AP was one of the greatestMARINES i ever had the pleasure of serving under. He was an amazing individual and was like a big brother to me. i spoke with him after the incident in sept 05, and we talked for 2 hrs talking about the unit we were both stationed at in Quantico, DSP. he told me that i helped him remember alot of what he lost from the accident. we lost touch for a few months, and next thing i know, he was gone. He will never be forgotten, and not a day goes by that i dont think about AP. He will forever remain in our hearts. We love you brother.
