I would like to know if this documentary is on DVD? I live in New Zealand and i am not privy to what is put on American television. I am also an ex-Mormon who had left the church back in 1981. I am now a liberal Christian and an active member of the Anglican/Episcopal Church. I still find myself wanting to sing the hymns of Zion but in terms of Mormon theology i am dissapointed that the Mormon church still remains a white male heterosexually dominated organisation with no room for freedom of thought and expression.

"The Mormons" explores many aspects of the LDS Church, including missionary work, temples and founder Joseph Smith. The LDS Church cooperated with the filmmaker but had no input on final product.
