This is very true. I am a surviver of domestic violence. I suffer with Post Traumatic Disorder due to the constant verbal and physical abuse I received from my childs father. The courts and social services will not listen to me when I tell them that this man is violant and is physicaly and emotionaly abusing my son right now. He some how got the tables turned on me even though I and others know that I am a loving mother. I have never hurt my child and I am always there for him. It has caused such emotional stress on me that it has effected every part of my life. I have to leave any area that I see a mother with her child because it hurts too much. This man tried to kill me several times and would not allow me to seek medical care when I was pregnant. I was 6 months pregnant before I got the chance to go to the doctor.
