U. gun ban shot down

I am a student at the U of U and think this whole debate is simply ridiculous.
Putting a ban on guns on a school campus is like asking all robbers to stay away
from banks. If someone with ill intent is going to use a gun on a campus, I
guarantee that they are not going to swing by the admissions office, thumb
through the student manual to see if guns are allowed on campus. History and
current events have taught us what we need to know, BANNING GUNS solves nothing,
it only ensures that those who really would use a gun on another human being,
that they don't need to worry about being shot by the good law abiding
citizen. Google search how the Australian people feel about having guns banned
in the country, how they can no longer defend themselves. That the
"bad" people don't worry themselves with suggestion/rule/law that
would inhibit them from having a gun.

Concealed weapons permit | 6:08 p.m. April 26, 2009
Yea, thou I walk through the valley of the shaddow of death, I will fear no
evil, because I have a concealed weapons permit and my "piece" will
protect me (and others). Aim small, miss small.
