I am relieved that Salt Lake County is NOT adding fluoride to our tap water. Evidence is mounting that there are numerous health dangers in the build-up of fluoride toxicity, which because it is cumulative, only takes small amounts over time to manifest. The most convincing is the replacing of magnesium in metabolic enzymes and hormones leading to Alzheimers disease and Hypothyroidism. The trend is clearly going against fluoridation as it has been outlawed recently in some Western European countries. Not only should the County save the money, but save themselves from the potential legal liability that may ensue from adding a toxin to public water. Certaintly more research would need to be done to conclude that it is not a cumulative toxin.
Please do not add fluoride to our water!
