This is an old story, I came across by accident. It is sorry that Nelson reviewed a movie without seeing it. Gibson did cover Gethsemene very well, and the spiritual aspects of the sacrifice are covered well. If film goers only saw the brutality, then they missed the key aspects of the film. The portrait depicts Jesus' suffering was more spiritual than physical in many facets, including his agony at seeing the pain he saw in his mother, followers, and those who did not comprehend his purpose.
