Credit cards, family size may be culprits

Goodness we really need to step it up here. There's a reason Utah has such high bankruptcys. And merely learning some financial responsibility would help a great deal. Its not that hard to figure out. And with this economic crisis heading our way its time we looked at our budget and cut out some unneeded items as well as focusing everything possible onto those things we do need. Only that way can we all make it out of financial debt and hopefully fix our economy

i love credit cards. i can buy whatever i want and whenever i want. who cares about paying them back!!!

ya i have 80,000 dollars in debt cause i spent it all on food. mostly mcdonalds

larger family size, charitable contributions, and lower income?

in other words, lots of children (as deemed scripturally necessary), tithing, and incomes that reflect the married-too-young-for-higher-education.

all just part of the Utah culture, I guess.

Interesting

I love how everyone's first suggestion was to budget and not to stop paying 10% of one's income to the church. The latter solution makes much more sense to me, but I guess not to those in the church.
