Utah's historical record versus TCU is as meaningless as Utah's historical record versus BYU was in 1972.
At that point, Utah was something like 40-3-3 against BYU; that is, until LaVell and the Cougs rattled off wins in 18 of the next 20 games.
If Utah thinks their past record against the Frogs is going to give the Utes the edge this Saturday, the Utes are sadly mistaken.
Sincerely, Utah and TCU
How will the Utes be bowl busters after they lose to the Cougars in a few weeks? Go Frogs... and GO COUGARS!
Hopefully you can detect a little sarcasm in this reply.
sincerly, a Y FAN
Looks like 2011 is when the next opportunity for BYU to challenge for the MWC title...not 2010, and we already know that TCU has the title in 2009, unless a major meltdown tomorrow.
The toaster just popped up...the Yewts are toast.
Course, it would be better for both BYU and Boise State if the Yoo should happen to luck out and beat the Frogs but with such an embarrassing line from Vegas showing no confidence in the Yew, that isn't likely.
We'll all be listening for that thud from Texas when your world comes crashing down tomorrow Yewt fans. We'll move over and make room for your landing a little softer.
How long has it been since BYU has won a bowl game??
BYU fans have NO BUSINESS running their mouth. Ever. Now go away and go comment on your own stories. You simply haven't earned enough credibility to trash talk. Period.
