Maybe so, but the Yewts do not stand a chance. The frogs are for real. BCS Bowl bound for sure. Go Cougars!

Ute's are going to smoke the Frog's this weekend and will be the busters again, this time busting TCU's BCS hopes.

Historically ND owns Navy | 1:06 a.m. Nov. 13, 2009
but, the Fighting Irish have lost 2 of the last 3 to the Midshipmen

Utah's historical record versus TCU is as meaningless as Utah's historical record versus BYU was in 1972.

At that point, Utah was something like 40-3-3 against BYU; that is, until LaVell and the Cougs rattled off wins in 18 of the next 20 games.

If Utah thinks their past record against the Frogs is going to give the Utes the edge this Saturday, the Utes are sadly mistaken.

'coach witt always seems to come out with a win' ?? Kind of like 27-0 vs UNLV ? or 36-3 vs Boise St ? hahahaha It's time for another beat down.

Why do so many of you lame Cougar Fans chime in on the articles about the UTES. You didn't beat TCU and you looked like a high school team when you played them. Play the game then you can run your mouth, or keyboard as the case may be.

Ute Fan,
How will the Utes be bowl busters after they lose to the Cougars in a few weeks? Go Frogs... and GO COUGARS!

Re: Historically ND owns Navy | 6:38 a.m. Nov. 13, 2009
Thank you, BYU fan, for pointing that out. Gee, I thought that the Utes would just show up and, on the basis of a 5-1 record over TCU, just assume that they'd win. Gosh, I thought that, like you pointed out, Coach Whitt would just sit back and let his players show up for a game against #4 ranked TCU, a team coming off a 38-7 blowout over BYU, he'd just look at his overall record and say, "Golly, I have beaten their team more than they've beaten me. That must mean I will beat them this time."

Hopefully you can detect a little sarcasm in this reply.

Lifelong BYU guy but I hope Utes can find the emotion for this game that they always seem to bring against the Cougs. From where I sit, TCU doesn't respect BYU or Utah.

As usual, your obsession with BYU comes shining through. This is the biggest game on your schedule and your entire post is to "put" BYU in it's place. Freakin' hilarious!

Since you're calling me (a Cougar fan), let's review the facts: 1. BYU has exactly how many MWC losses? Oh, right, just one. 2. After playing TCU and BYU on the road, Utah will have exactly how many MWC losses? I believe 1 + 1 = 2 conference losses, which consequently equals 3, as in THIRD-PLACE in-conference for your "big boy" Utes. No crying here. Second place behind BCS-bound TCU is no reason to get teary.

TCU doesn't have to respect BYU because they OWN BYU (see last 2 games)...and I pull for BYU. TCU will have a strong team again next year which means another loss for BYU in Ft Worth in 2010.

Looks like 2011 is when the next opportunity for BYU to challenge for the MWC title...not 2010, and we already know that TCU has the title in 2009, unless a major meltdown tomorrow.

Uh, 3rd place? Try tied for 2nd place with the Ewe behind TCU after tomorrow.

The toaster just popped up...the Yewts are toast.

Course, it would be better for both BYU and Boise State if the Yoo should happen to luck out and beat the Frogs but with such an embarrassing line from Vegas showing no confidence in the Yew, that isn't likely.

We'll all be listening for that thud from Texas when your world comes crashing down tomorrow Yewt fans. We'll move over and make room for your landing a little softer.

It would be nice to see Utah pull it off but even if they don't TCU is a great team and I think they will represent the conference well in a BCS bowl.

How long has it been since BYU has won a bowl game??

I love the addition that Cougar fans make before the games are even played. 2 losses in the MWC? Maybe but right now, the Cougars are losing.

BYU fans have NO BUSINESS running their mouth. Ever. Now go away and go comment on your own stories. You simply haven't earned enough credibility to trash talk. Period.
