What I don't get: if Micheletti really believes that 80-90% of the
Hondurans are happy with what's taken place, why didn't he just let
the vote happen today and let the voters speak?

Sounds to me like this is where Obama shouldn't meddle! From the outside it
sounds like there might be a very good reason for this "Take Over" of
power. The same party is in charge, so something isn't right, or something
isn't really wrong? Sit back and keep a watchful eye. Then again if Chavez
is against it, it must be fine, so expect Obama to speak up against it!

...stability is better than the alternative. If the new guy is from the same
party, then we can assume he espouses similar political ideas, hence, communist
friendly. We simply cannot encourage or support political overthrows within the
OAS. There are right and wrong ways to change the government; and this was done
in the wrong way. Those of us who remember the instabilty that Central America
went through for decades can appreciate the political progress that had been
made. This coup has set them back 20 years politically.
