That made me laugh! My mother always told us while playing cards, "You'd get shot if..." Funny!

Singing Barry Mammothnose, I mean Manilow, is certainly grounds for being shot.

Ann! I've been telling my wife and kids for years that dealing cards without the proper protocol is hazardous to their health. I also told them that in my (Italian) family, the moment you dropped a card under the table everybody looked to see what card it was (if it landed face up) and/or to ensure that you weren't trying to replace it from a hidden stash. Right on, LaVell! (Our family game was Pinochle.)

Your Dad is absolutely correct! As magicians and casino party dealers, we demonstrate card cheating methods and gambling scams. AND we must deal very correctly at casino parties!. Ask you Dad what Jesse James was holding when he got shot! I'll bet he knows that too. JIM

Your dad and my dad came from the same mold, only I was told I would get my throat cut (or my hands chopped off) in Las Vegas!

I wonder if you'd get shot if you wore a Michael Jackson glove while dealing?

No. Utah sees a major earthquake every 350 years. Last one? 350 years ago.
