Leavitt is making noise but without providing solutions. We want solutions and action!

Lets take a look at international ratings.

United States is the number 1 spender, the most money on healthcare in the world because it is privatized.

The United States is rated 72nd level of health and 37th in performance.

Lets learn and apply systems that are working in countrys that are better and have universal healthcare.

To much greed from bankers invested in the pharmacuetical and insurance industry who do not want to see this changed to a government system.

Check more international facts. These stats are provided by the World Health Organization. Do an internet search for: country ranking health who.

Another Reality Fact. Germans like quality and Japanese like to take whatever works and makes it better. This was not always the case but they changed to survive and so can the United States change to survive.

The United States needs to reverse the downhill health trend for it to survive economically.

A Healthy Nation boosts the economy.

A non profit government system is a good start.

Health insurance provides medical coverage when you need it.
But unlike other businesses that need to provide you with a product to make any money, health insurance companies make more money when they restrict and do not pay claims.

Read the 50 pages of your health insurance contract.
Pay particular attention to limitations and exclusions.
Peoples health is not a product that needs to be left to the whims of money motivated CEOs.
If that is your thinking, you might as well have your police and fire department protection based on insurance premiums you pay.
Then you can go to the police and fire protection insurance page for limitations and exclusions on whether or not the police or fire department would come out to your house in the event of an emergency.

The point is, you would never think of discriminating against another citizen if he was the victim of a fire or crime.
So why would you be ok with health insurance companies discriminating against fellow citizens who have pre-existing medical conditions?

No. Utah sees a major earthquake every 350 years. Last one? 350 years ago.
