Religious leaders pray for health care reform

I know that I am so much noise flapping in the breeze. But our freedom as a nation is more important than making health care a right.

i quite agree. the only right you have as far as health care goes is taking care of yourself. this not to say we can't have health care or even that we shouldn't, i'm just saying that it is not right.

Two public services should be rights: education and health care.

Without these the wealth of the nation suffers.

Without your health, you have nothing, and without education we can't progress and compete with other nations.

I admire the churches mentioned in this article for their compassion and common sense.

We are not entitled to have health. It is our fault that are bodys are not perfect.

It is not our duty to help our neighbor or be a good samaritan.

We should also be responsible for feeding ourselves and surviving when we are born.... Without Healthcare.

Freedom comes with Healthcare.

Most religious leaders supporting any government welfare programs are way out of line. Welfare is socialism and we don't need or want that in our government. Religion is socialistic by nature and it has no place in government. And they should not be listened to or given any consideration in what they deem a responsibility by government. A persons financial status does not merit rights or demands.

Why is health care a right? Are food and child care rights? What about a car? Here's a thought: How about we start looking at RESPONSIBILITY again? We have the responsibility to provide for ourselves and our families, to set aside part of our earnings in savings accounts so we can pay for our own health care. History shows that the more government gives to people the more they expect. It's an endless cycle of keeping people in poverty. Welfare is socialism and that's where the president we elected is taking us. Be careful what you wish for - you just might get it.

Change now from Fear Coverage to Care Coverage in the Health Industry is needed.

Rememember how the Banks complained when Credit Unions were introduced?

Many people benefited from service and loans from credit unions when they were refused them from banks.

The Healthcare system should be changed to Focus on Care instead of Profit.

The government recieves more money from Healthcare industry taxes by quantity of visits instead of Quality of Care.

Keeping people sick is the way of profit in the current system.

To change it the Government needs to take control of it and make it quality focused.

American private industry output (capitalists) will do better when they have more healthy employees able to work. Profits can then soar.

Government will have a larger focus on where the money flow does go when it is paying for the system.

It will be to their interest to eliminate causes of people getting sick. It will expect quality care for the money.

Greed has stopped this change from happening by payouts to our elected officials from the greedy in the medical industry.

Change Healthcare Now from a profit industry to caring non profit system.

Agreed, education and health are rights of every American. The government must take over and make it cost effective and free, like public education. Obama received a mandate to establish free health care, and is imperative for it to be done now.
