Doug Robinson: Graduates deserve a few laughs

And mom of five: I see you did not take the authors advice in this case. Remember way back when you were one of those "juvenile idiots"? Hard to fathom i know, but there was such a time. Graduation is for the graduates and they should be allowed to celebrate, even if it seems juvenile to certain stuck-up individuals.
I am one who also believes that, based upon what is in the story (which may or likely may not include facts), the principal acted too harshly. But having attended graduation ceremonies for my nine kids, I also believe there is a time for fun and a time for appropriate decorum. Kids lack that today because their parents have failed to pass that along as a life virtue. Makes the world less than it could and should be.
People like Suzanne Lukas, which is to say those without a sense of humor, are more to be pittied than scorned.
Revenge, is a dish best served cold!
In this day and age, everyone acts like an idiot. It gets old. All we can do is ignore it; it's our only defense.
All people should encourage high school graduation and not withhold it over a kiss or other feel good graduation pranks that hurt no one. I am all for the graduates. We need to be able to show love in our lives. God help America, especially Maine.
while throuwing common sense and the spirit of law out the window.
