My dad is a single dad of 6, he's a High-School teacher and takes care of us all. Now that I'm married I've appreciated his hard work and sacrfices more than ever and these dad's should be greatly honored forever.

And its true that mothers are getting the support that fathers can't get and denied of. Role model parenting does reflect personal childhood but common love and caring is all you need. In most childhoods there are good and bad memories, even in the best of homes. To be a good parent all you have to do is like yourself, be caring, be nurturing, and have respect for others, including your children and ex-spouses. This is all children need. Trying to provide too many 'things' just interferes. This has been my philosophy as a parent and I'm proud of my children.

The system is always making fathers the villains in a divorce and their punishment is financial distress.

Being a custodial father, I was denied all the time by the state and education system any of the benefits a single mother received, not even milk for their sack lunches. They could not qualify for higher education because they did not live with their mother on child support and I could not afford it.

i love being a father it's the best.I went through a divorce it was the worst thing that ever happened to me.One thing that i did was sighn up to be their coach for all their sports so i could be with them more than one time a week and every other weekend. After doing that the courts and police refused to enforce the court order though I had documentation of thousands of violations! No money no Justice! My child support was paid in excess but the courts failed to recognize parental alienation syndrome, failed to protect my son from bullies at school when his mother was not paying enough attention. No one in my family,parents,aunts, uncles or cousins can reach him! The BIGGEST PROBLEMS FOR FATHERS ARE COURTS!! Discrimination is rampent as is the violation of our civil rights, religious rights and due process! In Iowa fathers potential income can be considered in support but not the mother's? Hum? Justice is supposed to be blind, not peaking out of the blind fold to help one gender!I'm a good dad, but I've been denied anything dealing with my son.
