Hatch is a wise man to stay out of the GOP leadership. Why co-captain the Titantic?

Hatch is one of the most liberal Republicans in the Senate and is better off with his Democratic friends.

According to the American Conservative Union, Hatch is the 16th most conservative Republican out of 39 that currently serve in the Senate. they give him an 89 lifetime rating which means you probably agree with him 9 times out of 10. That's pretty good - I don't even agree with my wife that often and we've been married as long as Hatch has been in the Senate. You probably get tunnel vision on the 10% of issues you disagree with him on. Of the 15 that are rated more conservative only 5 got a rating of 95 or higher. Do your homework before you spout off about Hatch being a Democrat. The most conservative Democrat got a 47 and Kennedy got a 2. Perhaps Simon LeGree would be more to your liking.

Sen. Hatch has believed Timothy Gitner. What else is there to say?
