House kills Utah Rep. Rob Bishop's Pelosi probe

Gee, what a surprise; a Democrat majority voting to protect their Democrat Speaker of the House from an investigation.

What's next?, marching in lock-step with the Democrat President as he pushes us towards socialsim?

Doesn't Bishop have anything better to do in congress? Is he aware 10% of his constituents are out of work.

I'm really beginning to wonder if Nancy is going a little senile, a touch of insanity or something else due to getting on in years...she has been doing and saying some very strange things.

Lying to the tax payers started in 1992-2000 amd resumeed in Jan. 2009. When your leader's lie to you, who can you believe.

It's all those drugs she must have done in the '60s. It is terrifying to think this non-thinking woman is 3rd in line for the Presidency. And.. after what happened to Jimmy Carter today, we need to keep the succession in mind.

I think the accusations are worth being looked at, even though there are grave economic problems. What Rob says is true: Either the speaker of the house is lying, or the CIA is lying.

Since either of those possibilities represent corruption at the highest levels of government, I want to believe that Nancy Pelosi is right and that she was lied to.

However, since Nancy Pelosi isn't calling for an investigation (and as head of house intelligence, it would be her place to do so), I must assume that she knows she knows she is in the wrong.

"Democrat" and "Republican" are just two words for "Corruption".

funny how Pelosi calls it a partisan ploy, when it's a partisan ploy that's protecting her. did any of the dems think for themselves or did they all vote in lock-step with their party leadership?

I guess the transparency BO called for does not extend to his party's house leadership.

Just because Bishop offered this resolution doesn't mean he isn't doing other things in Congress. He's been fighting for Hill AFB and ATK jobs in opposing the Obama Administratin plans for defense cuts. (Ironic isn't it? Obama spends trillions for bailouts, ACORN, welfare, paying people's mortgages, even bailing out other nations withour tax money, but can't adequately fund defense).

Bishop is grandstanding and being used by party types who care more for power than for the welfare of the country. Think about this, so what if Pelosi or any member of Congress knew or not about CIA torture. The nunaces of security briefings can be twisted be any of the parties. The ultimate responsibility for torture lies with the Administration which perpetrated this horrendous practice. And for "Bishop Does a Lot", Obama has acutally increased defense spending, so you don't know what you are talking about. Besides, are you suggesting there is not enormous waste in the military? Or are you more interested in spending in Utah, which goes contrary to the anti-earmark rhetoric. Again, Bishop is a pawn in the GOP hypocritical political game. They are more interested in themselves than true patriotism.

I find it funny that when repubs vote in a block it's purely partisan, but it's never described that when dems vote in a block.

All I'm saying is if it's partisanship on one side, it's partisanship on the other.

I guess Obama and liberal democrats really do not want opem and transparent goverment,

they have shown they are more than willing to hide their dirty laundry.
