N-waste firm can pursue new site

PLEASE, did I get this right? Even though it is clear that Utahn's do not
want our State to be a nuclear dumping ground, another "waste site
provider" gets to pursue its rights all in the name of "honest
competition?" Another waste of our tax dollars.

The decision allowing Energy solutions into this state is looking worse and
worse.

Yes, that's right. It's called private enterprise. And the premise
that "utahns do not want our state to be nuclear dumping ground" is
very loaded. Most folks in Tooele County where the sites are located support
them as they provide good, high-paying jobs and needed tax revenue and also
provide a service that our nation needs as long as it's done right. This
is low-level stuff, not high-level nuclear waste. The two are really not even
comparable. Wish everyone would look at the science involved and not just run
screaming "the sky is falling and we're all going to die" just
because the word "nuclear" is involved.
