Red Canyon isn't very nice.

Riding a horse doesn't require listening skills, it requires a person too lazy to move their own body by foot or bike. It's nice that horses are allowed so they can tear up the trails and create lots of poop for hikers to step around. At the least, horse riders should have to remove the poop from the trail. Or carry horsey bags for the poop.

Obviously, you have never ridden a horse. If you are worried about some horse manure on a trail, you should just stay home and play video games.

Yeah, nice comment coming from a typical arrogant horse rider. Can't even take accountibility for horse crap on a trail and damage to trail conditions due to lazy people riding on an animal. And I would wager I spend a lot more time on trails via bike and hiking/backpacking than you could dream about. Several days a week. How about you?

RE: Riding a horse. it looks like you have vibrated your brain to the limit riding your trike up and down the street and getting into peoples way no doubt- It shows. you must not be from you Utah.

If it's so difficult for you to get closer to nature without the aid of a horse, perhaps "you should just stay home and play video games."

Wonderful Article...Thanks Amy! We are so lucky to have such diverse outdoor settings for all to enjoy. We can hike, bike, snowshoe or ride a horse! We need more articles like this.
