Legislators are in the process of preparing us for some major tax increases when they start worrying about future funding of their pet projects. They have no intention of a balanced budget and stop waste in government, it's much easier to tax us more.

We don't have money to spend on the economy but we can always be taxed until we bleed to death for the good of the state and illegal aliens welfare programs.

Everyone but the government has to scrimp. I'm sick of paying more taxes for programs that go against my moral principles.

To MINK: I'm with you buddy! I'm sick of paying for Wars of Adventure, like that "little" boondoggle of a war that GWB started in Iraq.

What seems so strange to me is that the Legislature sits around and wonders WHY they can't make ends meet, and DOES LITTLE OR NOTHING ABOUT THE ILLEGALS! Reduce class sizes, make more space in the jails, not to mention, reducing the state medicaid and welfare budgets, all if they would (HOPEFULLY) put more effort into getting the lawbreakers to leave the state.

Let your legislator know how you feel, they seem to think that the problem is everyones but THEIRS!

I sure hope this doesn't hurt my little fourth graders. The second grade is already up to 32 students in each class. How can you help 32 students at that age to learn to read? The low ones will suffer because of this. All of our classes, except for first grade, thank goodness, are now just under or over 30 students. It's appalling.
