The risks are off the charts at TalonsCove

I like Talon's Cove, I think it is one of the best courses in Utah County, I would still rate it below Hobble Creek but it is a nice course, great views, good lay-out and in reasonable good shape.

However, it is not closer to Provo than Hobble Creek. About every day I can get to Hobble Creek from my house in Provo in 20-25 minutes but it might take me an hour to get to Talon's Cove, 40-45 minutes on a good day. If a person leaves work early around 3-4 PM, that traffic in Lehi is a mess. It would be great (not just for Talon's Cove but for a better traffic) if some sort of causeway across teh northern part of Utah Lake could be built. The problem with Talon's Cove is that there is really only one road in there for the vast majority of Utah County residents and getting through that road in high volume hours is a bit of hell. So when often faced with that dilemma it is easier to choose a Hobble Creek to play a round...

My company had a season pass there last year. We decided not to renew it because it only allowed 4 to play 18 holes in 1 tee time instead of 8 playing 9 at different tee times, as other courses like Thanksgiving Point, Sleepy Ridge and Fox Hollow allowed us to do

Sounds like some people have axes to grind.

If I had any diamonds the last person I would trust with them would be a developer and the anecdote illustrating "vision" sounds more like shooting from the hip.

Poor guy, owns a golf course and he is honest, how weird. And he isn't walking away, wow.
