That is one brave woman. I hope she is able to accomplish her goals. I'm sick to death of people in the public eye promoting the exact opposite. Kids and our future don't stand a chance without more people out there like her.

A woman who parades around in a bathing suit, expects to be taken seriously based on nothing but her looks, and sets herself out in a competition to be the top "sex object" in the State of Utah is campaigning for "decency?"

My my how the hypocrites have spawned!

I am thrilled to see a wife and mother "use" her title to promote a return to decency. There are so many wives and mothers sick to death at the level of inappropriate language, media representation, political agendas and internet virility demeaning the "family unit" and "traditional families" that has become the norm. I am motivated by her, as will others who see societies' values falling apart. I am glad there are women strong enough to verbalize a stand this strong!

To Anonymous 12:07 p.m.:
David O. McKay (Prophet of LDS Church years ago) had two women approach him after a parade in Salt Lake and said "We were very offended at what we saw during the Saturday Parade.....that woman riding on the convertable in a swim suit!" He remarked "I don't know what you SAW....but what I saw was a wonderful woman in a modest swim suit!" Mrs. Utah is not about SEX OBJECTS...far from it. You speak from ignorance....not knowledge. Educate yourself. No hypocrite in Karmel Larson at all, to know her is to respect and honor her. I hope you will soften in your opinion as you better understand her passion to better this world, no hidden agenda. Happy Day to you.
