Why not start with.... | 7:20 a.m. May 10, 2009
...cleaning up the hate within politics? When the most powerful Republican says he wants our President to fail, now THAT is indecency.
Do the right thing | 12:04 p.m. May 10, 2009
Ms Larson is doing a great work. I think she is very inspiring. I like the idea of the awareness campaign she is waging against profanity, porn, etc. I support her efforts 100%
Worst website ever | 2:25 p.m. May 10, 2009
Come on folks, that's an empty website without nothing but links -- and a few empty phrases. Even the "archives" (Nov 08 and Apr 09) merely repeat what's already on the site.

This is no campaign. This is a standard e-mail address collecting website, and the lists will likely be sold to political campaigners.

Awareness or indoctrination? | 2:50 p.m. May 10, 2009
I hope Mrs. Larson starts her lessons without the self-righteous attitude that past efforts have tried.

Hate does not work.

An Observer | 3:50 p.m. May 10, 2009
Leave it to liberal to be the first to post a political hate attack.

Now everyone is hateful if they DON'T support the president and his terrible policies.
Great Idea | 11:18 p.m. May 10, 2009
While the hate mongers and criminals will go against this idea, Mrs. Utah is dealing with a great platform and some very dangerous issues in society. Crime stats prove how dangerous these issues are to everyone. Only IF we are serious about protecting the people of Utah, will we support Mrs. Utah in trying to resolve these issues. I hope this works and Mrs. Utah is successful in her goals.

her values do not speak for me. keep it to yourself!
re: anon 11:51 | 6:37 a.m. May 11, 2009
Yeah, who needs values? They were great for my grandparents but this is our generation and we don't need no stinkin values. Just you old people watch as we overtake this society with our "I want it now, and I don't want to work for it!!!" attitude.
re: Anonymous | 7:09 a.m. May 11, 2009
Isn't your arguement typically "then don't listen/watch etc."? Please apply it to yourself in this instance.

Should not they just call her Mrs. Mormon?...i will finish this later, gotta go watch an R- rated movie while eating my popcorn and looking at Porn!

Wow,
Why all the negative comments? Should we try to pull somebody down when they are putting their heart and efforts into helping people make choices that will uplift them instead of pull them down, and that will make our community a safer place for children? Its always worth the effort whether or not its been tried before. Each positive effort any person makes does make an impact for good, whether or not we see the effects. Mrs. Larson, you have my support, and I hope many more will make an effort to further the cause of decency. Even if you don't agree, there is no need to sabotage another's efforts.

Why are people so afraid to say that we need less profanity, we need less sexuality and violence in media, we need more honesty, integrity, and devotion to family? I read these comments on here and I wonder why people are so afraid to say enough is enough with society just letting everything be accepted or promoted, with no thought or responsibility to the consequences of an increasingly amoral society. Being decent doesn't mean you have to believe in a particular religious tenet - it just means you think that there ought to be a basic standard that protects what is good and right in our world.

And why is it always left to the mothers/women to talk about it and fight for it? Men, take a stand for what is decent in our world.

This doesn't have anything to do with whether or not you support the president. This doesn't have anything to do with which religion you belong to. Catholics, Mormons, Democrats, Republicans, Atheists, and Muslims unite! Promoting values that build up society is a good idea for everyone. We're behind you all the way Mrs. Utah.

You go Mrs. Utah! What you are attempting to bite off is the size of an elephant. Meaner than a snake, and more slippery than black gold. I admire your courage to speak out on these issues while disclosing your real identity; unlike most of your critics that will tear-down from the privacy of their computer or dark alley ways ; )
I agree with you all the way. As we refuse to define decency and as smut and porn become the norm. . . Our society and especially our children suffer the effects. C'mon men! We need you in our homes, we want you in our homes, OUR children need their daddys. And that is less likely when the daddys are dabbling in indecent anything. PERIOD. Any wonder why families are obliterated everyday and when you look around, it is those same critics mentioned above that are scratching their heads and can't seem to figure it out what went wrong.
There are more of us cheering you on than you know. Ignore those who sneer and jeer as they cling to their slippery habits.
You GO! And, uh, thanks for being the "pin-up-girl" for decency.

I am writing from afar European Malta, but I admire the courage and the faith that should push us all on to her platform for decency and for values.
